I mean real pizza..crust and all, not just the toppings? What about bread? Fluffy, soft bread slathered with some salted butter. Croissants? Scones? Bagels?
My husband was taught to cook by his Italian mother. He thought nothing of whipping up fresh pasta on whim. Then I enter his life. Pre-diabetic since 16, cannot handle carbs. We have tried everything we have found in the way of pastas and flours for pastas with marginal luck. This flour worked pretty well. It was difficult to cut once pressed out but the mouth feel was good and it absorbed the sauce well. I haven't tried this for anything else yet. Very grateful that you made the effort to produce this flour.
Need a recipe
Have not used it yet. Would love a recipe or two. Thank you.
A real WINNER!
I've tried so many different keto products. Most are okay. But this was in a whole league of it's own. The flour looks similar to white flour, it's a tiny bit darker in color I would say. It bakes like white flour and tastes like it too!! I'm soo happy to have found something I actually enjoy. It's also pretty high in protein, which is nice for when I don't feel like eating meat or cheese.
Great! Just don't over-mix it.
I love this flour. It makes things taste so much more like the real thing. But just be careful, DO NOT over-mix it. Too much mixing makes the dough hard to work with. You need less mixing than regular bread dough so just be careful with that. I would say to follow the directions on some of the recipes in the ebook first to get an idea of how it works then try your own recipes.
I've used this in cookies, scones and cake and it makes the texture and taste of everything so much better than when I just use almond flour or coconut flour. It's a little pricey but most keto things are.
